Talking with children about COVID-19

As parents try to wrap their heads around COVID-19, they must start thinking about how they will answer questions from their children and find ways to begin the conversation. How does a parent explain to their 5-year-old that they cannot go to school and see their friends? What do we say when they ask to go to the park? What does a parent say when their children want to get out of the house?

These questions can be difficult to navigate, so members of our Early Childhood programs pulled together resources to help guide parents during this unprecedented time.
