Hartford Hospital’s Digital Mobile Mammography coach will be stationed at Wheeler’s Family Health & Wellness Center at 43 Woodland Street, Hartford, on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Digital screening mammograms will be offered for women over the age of 40 who have not had a mammogram in more than one year. All women must be registered prior to her appointment on August 6. Walk-ins considered.
“Mammograms are critical screening tools and essential to maintaining a woman’s overall health,” said Heidi Joseph, Heidi Joseph, MSN, RN, vice president, Wheeler Health & Wellness Center Operations. “We will continue to offer ways for Hartford-area individuals and families to access the care and services they need.”
Most insurance will be accepted at the time of the visit.Photo IDs—preferably a driver’s license or State ID—and health insurance card(s) are required at the time of the appointment. Donated funds are available to cover the cost of mammograms for individuals who do not have health insurance.
