“It Takes a Village: The Gift of Fostering” – A Forum about Foster Care and Family Partnership

A forum about foster care and family partnership entitled, “It Takes a Village: The Gift of Fostering,” will take place on Saturday, July 28 from 8:30 a.m.–noon at Klingberg Family Centers, 345 Linwood Street, New Britain.

This family-friendly recruitment event will provide information for those interested in becoming a foster parent; real stories from foster families; an overview of different kinds of foster care; foster care training credits for current foster parents as well as raffle prizes and giveaways. Breakfast and snacks will be provided.

This event is sponsored by Wheeler, Klingberg Family Centers, the Connecticut Department of Children and Families, The Connection, the Connecticut Alliance of Foster & Adoptive Families, Community Mental Health Affiliates, Connecting Children and Families to Care, and Favor.
