Wheeler’s New Britain Family Health & Wellness Center is a community health center and offers convenient primary care, substance abuse treatment and behavioral health services.

Walk-in, same-day care provided.

Convenient walk-in and appointment hours are available for our full continuum of services!

Services Include:

  • Primary care for adults (ages 18+)
  • A range of substance abuse treatment services, including medication-assisted treatment (such as extended-release naltrexone (Vivitrol®) and buprenorphine (Suboxone®) for alcohol, heroin and opioid addiction, tobacco cessation services and recovery supports
  • Physical examinations
  • Behavioral health care services
  • Coordination and referral for dental care, pediatrics and specialty health services
  • Laboratory services

Wheeler Receives Community Health Center Grant to Support Bristol

Wheeler’s Health & Wellness Center at 10 North Main Street, Bristol, has been awarded a new access point grant as a federally qualified health center (FQHC) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to expand health care services to meet the needs of residents of Bristol and the surrounding communities.
