Early Childhood Programs

Research shows that providing supports to children with disabilities and other special needs in their early years reduces their need for special education and other supports in life. Our early childhood programs are designed to support and enhance the social and emotional development of children so that they are ready to learn by the time they enter school.

+Birth to Three

The goal of the Birth to Three program is to strengthen the capacity of families to meet the developmental and health related needs of their infants and toddlers. This program provides comprehensive services to families with children under 3 years of age who have significant developmental delays or disabilities. The program is family-centered, strengths-based and responsive to the needs of each child. A team of clinical and early childhood specialists works with each family to create an individualized plan based on its unique concerns and priorities in order to promote the child’s healthy development.

+Early Childhood Consultation Partnership

This program provides consultation services for parents/guardians and early care and education providers who are caring for children, birth through 5, with challenging behaviors and/or social and emotional needs. Consultation includes the assessment of the child in an early child care or educational setting, individualized intervention plans, and engaging child care staff in the promotion of healthy child social and emotional development.

+Family Enrichment Services (FES)

FES offers weekly in-home parent education and support services that focus on the parents’ knowledge and skills to provide a safe and stable home environment free from child abuse and neglect.

+Promising Starts/Project LAUNCH
