(D.A.R.T)
The DART evaluation is an integrated, multidisciplinary
evaluation for children between the ages of two and 20 who are experiencing
behavioral, cognitive, social, emotional, and/or educational difficulties.
Each evaluation is customized according to the
questions raised by the referrer. Referrals are appropriate for children
who require a more extensive and integrated study for assistance with
programming and placement decisions, and for independent evaluations.
The file report provides an integrated overview of the child, and may
include other necessary, approved assessments. Specific recommendations
address the concerns raised by the referrer, and are designed to allow
the child to achieve a greater degree of success in his / her overall
functioning.
