Wheeler Clinic offers specialized services for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning individuals covering a range of issues in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Our master's level staff works with each individual, their partner and family on issues such as:
- Coming out to family, friends and co-workers
- Homophobia and discrimination
- Relationship difficulties
- Anxiety and depression
- HIV/AIDS and other related issues
- Grief and loss
Individual, group and couples counseling are offered, along with case management, referral, medication management, and links to community supports. Participants learn to become active directors of their own lives as they achieve personal goals and self-empowerment.
